So a few of you have been asking how does Keto work? Trust me I was the same way! Like how is this person eating Hot wings and Burgers and losing weight! I was confused.
The keto diet is basically a very low-carb diet to encourage the body to use fat as fuel instead of glucose. The lower the carbohydrate intake, the quicker the body enters a fat burning state.
The diet promotes eating no more than 50 grams of carbohydrates a day to encourage the body into a state of ketosis, where the body is almost completely fueled by fat (rather than glucose in the form of carbohydrates). When we limit carbs our body looks for an alternate fuel source, which is fat!!! And when our body uses fat as fuel we become SNATCHED!!!
